Brighid of the holy wells,
Light-bringer
Hope-bearer
Comforter to women in labour
And lambs in the cold fields.
Brighid - eternal flame
Hidden in the heart,
Bring blessings.
Bride,
Crowned with candles
Cleanser and healer,
Pure as snow
Milk-white,
Golden-haired
Guardian of the sacred word,
Mystical flame-bearer,
Inspirer of women.
