Pagan's Magical Notes:
Well this weeks blog almost never happened. And yes, it's Monday! But most witches I know have busy lives, be it family and or work, and this witch is no exception. And yes, I haven't done the broom blog! I will, I promise (should I really do that?). I have made some changes to the weekly entry, well it's layout anyway. I felt this coming first made more sense. I have also added a key for the daily colours I post as I think it would be helpful.
On a magical level, it has been a quiet week. Though I did make a discovery of a perfect crystal. One of my skills as a witch is a healer. And I wanted a crystal that would aid me in this. Something that would protect and enhance. After seeking some advice I discovered a little rare stone called Apache Gold or Healers Gold. This stone both protects the one giving the healing from the illness and the stresses of giving the healing and also enhances. I shall post a separate little blog about this. I have also found out the Green Calcite is also excellent for when you are sending healing.. So I have purchased both these stones. The Apache Gold I have turned into a healers pendent. I haven't done so with the Calcite, I'd take out an eye at best...It's rather big *chuckle*.
This weeks entry from my Llewellyn's Witches' Datebook is from James
Kambos and some thoughts and ideas on Ostara (20th March).
Enjoy and have a blessed week.

Ostara
From Llewellyn's Witches' Datebook 2016
Ostara is a time of renewal and the balance of night and day. Symbols include spring flowers, baby chicks, rabbits, and pastel-coloured eggs. It's also a time to honour the spring
goddess Eostre. Ostara ushers in a season of growth and expansion.
If the weather permits, open your windows and doors to help renew the energy in your home, which is probably stale from being closed all winter. To attract peace, fertility, and abundance, decorate your home with potted daffodils and tulips. Outside your home hide a few coloured eggs to symbolise life and fertility.
At Ostara, early cool-weather herbs and vegetables such as chives, onions, and lettuce can be planted. As you plant, kneel upon the soil as a sign of gratitude. If you have any new ventures or projects you've been wanting to start, do it now. Ostara is a good time to begin anything. To bless a new venture, write it down on a piece of paper and place it in your cauldron. Leave it overnight. Then place it in a potted
plant and forget it.
Before your celebration ends, as a sign of thanks to Eostre, light a pale green candle.
